Let's be real here. If there's a shortage of breakfast products in the world, it's definitely not granola. There's something for every taste palette and we're casually going to slide in our recipe like Jamie Oliver would love to slide into our DM's. Is this a millenial joke? Forgive us, we're 90's kids. Enough blabbering, you must be dying to try our recipe, so let's get started!
BAKING TIME: 20 minutes // SERVINGS: serves 2 // MEAL: breakfast
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup rolled oats- 1/2 cup dates, soaked in hot water for 5 minutes
- 1/2 banana, preferably spotty
- 1/3 cup almonds, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup pecans
- 1tsp cinnamon
- pinch of ground ginger
- pinch of allspice
STEP-BY-STEP
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Then blend together the soaked dates and banana.2. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Add the banana and date mixture and pour onto a baking tray.
3. Bake 15-17 minutes, but mix occasionally to make sure the granola doesn't burn!
Store in an air-tight jar for up to two weeks.
