No, hummus dipping is where it's at. Combine that afternoon activity with these easy white bean patties and you're all set for an unforgettable experience. If you're more into BBQ-ing, throw these burger patties on the heat and serve between a tasty bun.

BAKING TIME: 20 minutes // SERVINGS: 8 patties or 4 burgers // MEAL: LUNCH
INGREDIENTS
- 1,5 cups cooked white beans
- 2tbsp cup chickpea flour or regular flour
- 1tsp paprika spice
- pinch of cayenne
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1tbsp soy sauce
- handful parsley
STEP-BY-STEP
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C or 350°F. In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend until somewhat smooth.
2. Form smaller falafel-like patties or burger patties and place on a non-stick baking tray.
3. Bake for 10 minutes on one side, then flip, and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot or leave to cool down and freeze when cold.
AVOCADO HUMMUS
PREP TIME: 3 minutes // SERVINGS: 15 servings // MEAL: LUNCH or SNACK
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups chickpeas
- 1/2 cup white beans
- 1tbsp apple cider vinegar
- pinch of baking powder
- 1tsp paprika powder and cumin
- pinch of cayenne
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 avocado
- 1tbsp tahini
STEP-BY-STEP
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add 1/4 cup water if the mixture is too thick and blend again.
2. Store in a refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
