True, it may not be unmissable on your dinner table, but when creating a spread of dips and appetizers for friends and family, it really is unmissable. Hummus is not only a great variation on your regular dip, it happens to also be a protein-rich snack to keep you full in between meals. Make it a tad spicy and you're all set for a great time! Let's get dipping!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 x 400g tin chickpeas, thoroughly rinsed
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 2,5 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp turmeric
- the squeeze of half a lemon
- the squeeze of half a lemon
- sea salt
- chili flakes to top
STEP-BY-STEP
1. In a food processor, mix together the chickpeas and garlic cloves. Once it’s starting to look smooth, add the tahini, olive oil, ground cumin, turmeric and sea salt.
2. Serve with a pinch of chili flakes on top and use breadsticks or melba toast to dip into the hummus.
